How to edit the frontpage layout

1. In order to add news content to your Joomla! CMS you have to login at your Administrator panel and then navigate to the "Content Tab". There you should choose "Content Management System" and in the menu which appears in the right "Content Management System Items".

You will be redirected to the Content Items Manager, where you can create, modify and remove your content. There is a menu with various functions on the right side of the screen. There you should choose the "New" button and click it, in order to add new content.

Joomla features very a rich WYGWYS editor which you can use to modify your content.

 When you are done with editing your content, you must Save the item, using the menu on the right:

2. Once done with this, you will have to go to the "Content" tab in your main page and choose the "Frontpage manager" link.

 You will be redirected to the Frontpage manager, where you should choose the previously added content and simply publish it from the menu on the right top. Once you do so, it will appear on your front page.
